Vintage meets modern in new elegant whimsy tile pattern

“Bloomin’ Lace” is the newest pattern from Color Bakery. Dancing daisies and leaves with touches of damask festooned with lace make for an elegant look with a touch of whimsy. Available for customization on all our products, “Bloomin’ Lace” is especially suited for clocks, keepsake boxes, accent tiles, border tiles, placemats and napkins, serving trays. “Italian Wines”, our new series is comprised of Vino Verde (White Wine in Italian) and Vino Rosso (Red Wine in Italian). Sophisticated Whimsy: Dahlia Pattern Set

I love patterns!

I am one of those people who can stare at fabric for hours and hours, getting excited and inspired. So picture what fabric would look like on tile–that’s what many of our Pattern images look like! I especially love damasks and vintage, so I like taking classic shapes and updating them, giving them a more modern look. Here is another mix and match pattern set that is especially suited for tiles, placemats, clocks–anywhere you want a touch of sophisticated whimsy. Of course, we can customize color for you as well! The series is called Dancing Dahlias, and is available in our Pattern Gallery. Three Autumns Series, Triptych in Cool Blues, Creams and Cocoas

Leaves and foliage. I just never get tired of them…either looking at them or making art from them. I especially love the shape of leaves, branches, trees and nature as decorative art textures and silhouetting. We’ve just added two new art pieces to our very popular and organic, “Three Autumns” series, from our Organica Gallery. This particular transitional art piece was made with actual scans of leaves and dried flowers from our Vermont yard.

First, I created this art in warm spicy tones, and now I have added to the series by making Three Autumns in very trendy cool tones–cocoas, blues, greens, creams.
